When I slipped these shoes on for the first time, I knew I was in for a treat. The thick, perforated leather felt so soft and comfortable against my feet that I just couldn’t get over it. The brilliant coloring of the uppers and midsole gave the shoes an added level of sophistication. On the feet, they looked stylish and sporty – cubby but chic, if you will. The outsole was constructed with the utmost attention to detail and with a robust material that I knew was going to provide plenty of support and stability with every step I take. The lace-up fastening made them snug and the pull tab on the back of the heel aided in taking them on and off with ease. But the best part, for me, was the utmost cushioning that I felt while wearing them. I felt as though I could walk around for hours without feeling a sliver of discomfort, all while looking super stylish. These shoes, though clunky, were definitely full of soul.
