I am always a little skeptical when it comes to purchasing high-end shoes. However, the recent and exclusive partnership between the Edmonton Elks of the Canadian Football League and Air Jordan 1 High Top was hard to resist. The ultra-premium leather upper was clearly a statement, and the bright metallic blue colour spoke to me. All of these details are what made the entire experience of buying and using the Edmonton Elks customized Air Jordan 1 High Top so unique. The cushioning was exceptional; bouncy, yet supportive and at the same time breathable. I am a huge fan of the subtle embroidered Canadian football logo that is featured on the heel. This really sets the shoe apart from other Air Jordan models. With that being said, the padded tongue and ankle liner made the shoe feel foot hugging and incredibly comfortable. Not to mention the heel pull tab for super easy access. After several wears and washes, I am still in shock at how well this shoe has retained its quality. The design and materials remain impeccable, the same as the first day I got them. And the shoelaces now have a nice natural fray which adds even more character to the overall look. I highly recommend these shoes to everyone I know who is after an exclusive, high end product that will always get you a few stares.
